Carolina Hernandez
I am currently an incoming Junior at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am studying Computer Science, or more specifically Web/Mobile Development & Software Engineering. Not only am I interested in front-end development, but also the creation of the blueprints for the user interface and expierence, its the best of both worlds! Because of my interests, the skills I have begun to master and continue to learn about are Java, SpringBoot, HTML/CSS, Javascript, React.js, Node.js, Figma, Framer, Adobe, and Canva!
A productivity resource that will help users manage time and boost focus using the Pomodoro technique. Features will include customizble session and break lengths, a countdown display, built-in audio for extra focus, and multiple visual themes. Will be designed with responsive interface to acommodate for any device.
Review ProjectMy journey with coding began at the age of 10, when I was introduced to code.org in my 4th grade classroom. I later picked up my interest at 17 when I was getting ready to graduate highschool and thinking of what I wanted to do for a major part of my life. By pursuing my degree, I hope to encourage fellow latina/hispanic first-generation women to pursue an education in STEM. While I am not studying or working my part-time job I am spending time with family and dedicating time to my hobbies. Get to know me just a little bit more and check out my images below!
